VAUGHAN, Ont. – A Toronto man has been charged with human trafficking after police conducted a raid on two massage parlours in Vaughan.
One customer and seven employees were also arrested at two Blue Eyes Spas locations operating in the Keele and Highway 7 area.
The seven month investigation alleges that sex acts were exchanged for money on the premises, while police say one female employee was threatened with violence if she did not give her earnings to the spa owner.
John Pike, 36, is charged with Human Trafficking, Keeping a Common Bawdy House, and Living on the Avails of Prostitution.
