Bamoseda, hosted by Jennifer Ashawasegai, is an Aboriginal news magazine radio program, which features national Aboriginal news, current affairs, features on community and culture, spotlights on entertainment and a cross section of musical genres from very talented artists in the Aboriginal community.

Is it an erosion of rights? Some think so, but the government says not. The name change of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada to Aboriginal and Northern Affairs Canada has sparked some controversy in the First Nations community throughout the country.

Inuit in Canada have a shorter life expectancy than others in the country. Bamoseda finds out the contributing factors and what one organization says should be done to help extend the life expectancy for Inuit.

Parents of missing children now have extra help from the Canadian Centre for Child Protection. The Centre has launched a national missing children’s resource centre.
