Canadian edition of Huffington Post launches

The Huffington Post has launched its Canadian edition.
The editor, Ariana Huffington, promises the same look and approach to news and issues but with a Canadian spin.
To mark today’s launch, the online newspaper has a special cartoon featuring a beaver, a lumberjack, a Mountie and a hockey player.
The site also featured blog posts written by environmental activist David Suzuki, Green Party leader Elizabeth May and Oscar-nominated actress Meg Tilly, who was raised in Victoria, B.C.
