Police appeal for witnesses after shooting near Jane and Finch

TORONTO, Ont. – One man is in hospital after a shooting in the Jane and Finch area.

Toronto police told 680News two vehicles were travelling on Gosford Boulevard near Secroft Crescent shortly before 4 p.m., Tuesday, when at least one person in one of the cars started shooting.  

One person arrived at a local hospital, shortly after the shots were reported, suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the person’s injuries are not considered to be serious.

Police are not sure if the victim and the earlier shooting are connected but are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
