Mississauga school still closed Monday for fire cleanup

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – It’s a long, long weekend for students at St. Bernard of Clairvaux elementary school in Mississauga.
There was a small fire in a classroom at the school early Friday morning, forcing the cancellation of classes on Friday. The school is still closed, Monday.
The school is located on Escada Drive, in the Winston Churchill Boulevard and Eglinton Avenue West area.
Clean-up crews have been airing out the school on the weekend.
Parents are advised to monitor the school’s website for the latest information.
