Ford to recall 25,000 vehicles

US automaker Ford is recalling about 25,000 pickup trucks and crossover vehicles in both the U.S. and Canada due to possible fuel leaks and electrical shorts that could lead to fires.

The recall will affect some of the 2010 Ranger pickups.

Meanwhile, Ford is also recalling over 9,000 of those trucks and crossovers in an attempt to fix a software problem that could lead to an electrical short and overheating problems.

That recall affects 2011 Edge, Lincoln MKX crossovers, as well as the F150, F250, F350, F450, and F550 trucks.
