Tim’s ‘roll up the rim to win’ is back

TORONTO, Ont. – How good are you at rolling your Rs?

That’s the question Tim Hortons is asking as it celebrates the 25th anniversary of the ‘roll up the rim to win’ contest.

A Harris Decima survey found nearly 40 per cent of those asked said they can roll their Rs for one to five seconds, while only 20 per cent said they can keep it up for more than 15 seconds.

Tim Hortons spokesperson Andrea Hughes told 680News this year’s contest odds are better.

“We’re one in six this year, where we were one in nine last [year], so it’s very exciting because we can offer more prizes …,” she said.

The top prize in the very first ‘roll up the rim’ contest back in 1986 was a pack of timbits.
