Eastbound Gardiner reopens after early morning collision

TORONTO, On. – The eastbound Gardiner has reopened following an early morning collision at the Humber.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m., and involved two police cruisers and another vehicle.
Sergeant Tim Burrows with Toronto Traffic Services told 680News the officers were taken to hospital, but are expected to be fine.
“The suspect, who is believed to be impaired at the time, was also taken to hospital with a broken pelvis,” he added.
The eastbound lanes of the Gardiner were reopened at the Humber around noon after being closed for almost nine hours.
A 46-year-old Brampton, Ont., man is facing a charge of impaired driving.
