TORONTO, On. – Basketball star Kobe Bryant was the target of protesters, Sunday.

Canadian-Armenian youth are angry with the Los Angeles Lakers player for a new business agreement he’s signed with Turkish Airlines.

Relations between the Turks and Armenians have been strained for decades because of a number of political issues including the deaths of thousands of Armenians in the early 1900′s.

The rally took place Sunday afternoon at the York Street entrance of The Air Canada Centre before the Toronto Raptors game against the Lakers.

Participants in the rally held a large banner reading the words “Kobe: Do the Right Thing.”
