Rogers to carry Hockey Night in Canada 3D broadcast

TORONTO, Ont. – Rogers said it will be carrying the CBC broadcast of the Leafs-Canadiens hockey game in 3D this weekend, marking the first 3D hockey broadcast in Canada.
Some Rogers customers sent online complaints to the cable company concerning ads saying their equipment was 3D ready, without any plans to carry the game.
Bell, Shaw, Telus and Videotron had previously committed to picking up CBC’s 3D signal for the game, which has Montreal visiting Toronto.
