Bamoseda, hosted by Jennifer Ashawasegai, is an Aboriginal news magazine radio program, which features national Aboriginal news, current affairs, features on community and culture, spotlights on entertainment and a cross section of musical genres from very talented artists in the Aboriginal community.

Aboriginal Youth and Elders are preserving stories about the night sky in a multi-media format. The ‘Stories of the Night Sky’ project is hosted by the National Association of Friendship Centres.

An Edmonton lawyer is challenging the Alberta jury selection process. Tom Engel said the process violates the rights of Aboriginal people by leaving First Nation communities out of jury selection pools.

The River of Life program is a new online suicide prevention awareness course. The unique program is culturally-based and includes education on historical trauma in First Nation communities.

The National Aboriginal Energy and Power Association is set to host its first annual conference. It hopes to ‘Set the Table’ to advance economic development in the energy industry and discuss something most First Nations don’t have when going to the table — access to financing.

Food sovereignty is one of the focal points in FACE — a new glossy Aboriginal arts and culture magazine.
