Leaf blower starts blaze at Forest Hill home

A leaf blower is being blamed for a three-alarm fire at an upscale Forest Hill home, Wednesday.
The house belongs to former figure skating superstar Kurt Browning.
Fire officials told CityNews, a person at the house on Forest Hill Road – located south of Eglinton Avenue and just west of Avenue Road – was attempting to dry off the seats of his convertible in the garage with a leaf blower, but left it unattended.
He came back to find the vehicle on fire.
The blaze spread to the second and third floors, along with the roof, which is now partially collapsed.
Eighteen fire trucks and 80 firefighters were on scene at the height of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The blaze may have caused up to $1-million in damage.
