New report shows few Torontonians got H1N1 shot

TORONTO – A new report on the handling of the H1N1 pandemic by Toronto Public Health suggests that health officials did not vaccinate nearly as many people as they originally planned for.

According to thestar.com, the provincial government had set a target to vaccinate 75 percent of the population.

The report estimates that only 28.2 percent of Torontonians got the shot.

The findings will be presented to the Toronto Board of Health next week.
