Sunday’s 44th annual Super Bowl was the most-watched TV program in history.
A record 106.5 million people south of the border watched the New Orleans Saints against the Indianapolis Colts.
The game beat the record held by the 1983 finale of the “M*A*S*H” comedy series, which had 106 million viewers.
The previous Super Bowl audience record was 98.7 million viewers. That was for last year’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.
