Two pedestrians struck by buses, one fatal

A 60-year-old woman was struck and killed by a TTC bus in the Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue area, Monday.
A TTC bus was heading southbound on Mount Pleasant, making a right onto Eglinton, when it hit the female pedestrian.
Police told 680News she was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was one of two pedestrian-bus accidents.
In the other case, a female pedestrian was hit by a school bus at Weston Road and Eglinton. She sustained minor injuries.
