Several shots fired into east-end home, no injuries

Toronto police said it was “by the grace of God” no one was hit when several bullets were fired into a home in the Neilson Road and Sheppard Avenue area.

At least four bullets smashed through the front and back windows of the home on Blackwater Crescent Thursday night, and ricocheted through the house.

One bullet lodged in a sofa near a television.

At the time, a woman was in the living room and her daughter was in a bedroom, but neither was hurt.

Police said the residence was targeted for some reason, and are investigating.
